1981 SF. This was our 1/4 that we used to haul up to the schoolyard from our house (me and @eldiablitos )down the block-piecemealed from liberated wood.😉 We got tired of moving that beast so we finally just left it there in hopes that it’d remain. It did for quite awhile and the sessions were frequent and hot! @brycekanights has a rad pic skating it w his Lonnie Toft 8 wheeler-7 wheels out! My brother lofted some hefty b side airs as well. Here I am doing my best Alan Gelfand impression. 5 yrs and 3 days ago. Casting ponds SF. We (all the SF/bay shralpers) have been skating this spot since the mid 80’s. Amazing that it still exists. Usually full of water but they tend to drain them every couple years. It’s a bit harder to ride than it appears-the same as many great spots-but super fun. I spoke to the locals who take care of the place and they didn’t mind us riding as long as we didn’t ride over the freshly painted lines, the cops on the other hand...well they’re just being cops. When you wear blinders it diminishes your perception. Stay in/stay safe ya’ll! ✊🏾 @morfordmedia 📷 #offmywavekook @realskateboards @converse_cons
